Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a Facilities Manager II to supervise and coordinate building operations at a major Atlanta campus facility. This role focuses on maintenance, office moves, equipment deliveries, access control, and project management for renovations and construction.

You will interact with occupants, department heads, contractors, and vendors, supervise assigned staff, and ensure safety, scheduling, and emergency planning are integrated into daily operations.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of job-related experience.
• Skills in organization, communications, staging operations, general building maintenance processes and scheduling.
• Use of office related computer applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage building maintenance functions (both routine and emergency).
• Arrange for office moves within facility; ensure they are carried out as scheduled.
• Coordinate delivery and installation of building equipment.
• Maintain building access control system including card entry and office key management.
• Facilitate arrangements of special events scheduled for facility.
• Coordinate outside vendor/contractor services; order building repair services as needed.
• Manage and update the Redbook and emergency preparedness plans annually, for facility and all related procedures.
• Coordinate annual equipment inventory and maintain related records.
• Oversee building renovation and construction projects.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
