Job summary

TeamGOV is currently seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operations and mechanical maintenance services at Federal Buildings and US Courthouses in Topeka, Kansas City, and Wichita, KS. LB&B Associates Inc. is a subcontractor partner with TeamGOV.

The Facilities Manager shall have a high school diploma and 5 years of management and supervision experience in building mechanical maintenance for large-scale facilities, with CMMS and building automation systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of recent experience managing and supervising building mechanical maintenance for multiple high-rise buildings totaling 450,000 sq ft or more
• Experience in O&M for facilities management across multiple buildings

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations and maintenance (O&M) of all buildings under this contract.
• Lead skilled trades, administrative, and supporting staff to maintain consistent service quality.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) plans and oversee PM projects.
• Oversee machinery, electrical and mechanical systems maintenance.
• Negotiate O&M contracts and manage vendor relationships; qualify new vendors.
• Manage purchase of maintenance supplies and repair parts.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and equipment; report repair needs.
• Ensure proper use of the CMMS for all buildings; provide client updates and reports.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
