Job summary

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is seeking a Full-Time Facility Manager for our Bismarck campus. The role focuses on overseeing facilities, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for youth, staff, and visitors.

You will lead maintenance, projects, and energy-efficiency initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience + 2 years in facilities management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities management or related field.
• 2+ years of related facilities management experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Proficient with common computer applications and software used for facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building maintenance, housekeeping, groundskeeping operations.
• Manage facility projects, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Monitor HVAC and lighting; identify energy savings opportunities.
• Coordinate space planning and building improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, security, and environmental regulations.
• Communicate updates and coordinate with contractors and regulators.
