Job summary

The role requires daily inspections, basic computer use, and coordinating preventative maintenance on HVAC, boiler, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technician with ability to troubleshoot and coordinate with vendors.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and building issues.
• Perform light-duty maintenance tasks (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, touch up paint, basic plumbing, janitorial work).
• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word, and basic Excel).
• Daily inspections and proactive site monitoring.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with building staff.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and coordinate with appropriate vendor.
• Perform light-duty maintenance and janitorial tasks as needed.
• Respond to after-hours building emergencies within 30 minutes.
• Conduct daily inspections for defects and maintenance problems.
• Monitor preventative maintenance, HVAC, boiler equipment, plumbing, lights, and generators.
• Inspect and oversee work by outside contractors and preventive maintenance contracts.
