Job summary

Eataly in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Facilities Manager to ensure efficiency, safety and good working conditions across all store facilities. The role reports to the Director of Store Operations and oversees Facilities and Support team members.

You will hire, schedule and train staff, manage 24‑hour operations including HVAC, plumbing and walk‑ins, maintain records, ensure sanitary standards, and oversee vendor relationships. Onsite work with a flexible schedule, OSHA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience supervising facilities or housekeeping.
• Experience managing a large team successfully.
• Excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manages team members: hires, schedules, trains, motivates, submits payroll and disciplines as necessary
• Ensures efficiency and good working conditions of multiple 24-hour facilities, including but not limited to: walk-ins, refrigerator units, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning services and off-site storage
• Maintains accurate records of the conditions of all facilities in the building and creates a schedule of regular housekeeping and cleanliness for the store
• Guarantees exceptionally clean and sanitary conditions in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Assesses the ongoing condition of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment in order to anticipate needs and resolve problems
• Ensures the safety of the building from fire, flood or other hazards
• Oversees inventory and vendor relationships
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
