Job summary

Delight Restaurant Group in Virginia Beach is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and facilities operations across our restaurant locations. The role emphasizes field work, problem solving, and partnering with Operations to keep restaurant operations safe and efficient.

You will manage preventative maintenance, lead diagnostics and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, electrical and plumbing, and decide when to use internal resources or approved vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or technical experience (restaurant or multi-unit preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within the Virginia Beach area.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance for restaurants within the Virginia Beach market.
• Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide hands-on diagnostics and support for HVAC systems, commercial refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and basic electrical/plumbing systems.
• Determine when repairs should be completed internally versus through approved vendors.
• Manage and track work orders using Corrigo (or similar system).
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.
• Partner with General Managers and Area Leaders to support restaurant performance.
• Assist with minor remodels, reimages, and equipment replacements as needed.
• Maintain vendor relationships and control maintenance expenses within budget.
