Job summary

Delight Restaurant Group seeks a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and facilities operations for restaurant locations in the Virginia Beach market. This role requires a technician mindset and a passion for field work, problem solving, and partnering with Operations to ensure safe, efficient restaurant operation.

Travel locally within the Virginia Beach area is required. You will manage HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, coordinate maintenance programs, and use Corrigo

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or technical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within the Virginia Beach area.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance for restaurants within the Virginia Beach market.
• Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide hands-on diagnostics and support for HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
• Determine when repairs should be completed internally versus through approved vendors.
• Manage and track work orders using Corrigo (or similar system).
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.
• Partner with General Managers and Area Leaders to support restaurant performance.
• Assist with minor remodels, reimages, and equipment replacements as needed.
• Maintain vendor relationships and control maintenance expenses within budget.

• Commercial refrigeration

• Basic electrical and plumbing systems

• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.
