Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to lead and optimize our facilities operations in Toledo and regional offices. You will develop programs, manage renovations and moves, and supervise internal teams, vendors, and property managers to meet evolving workplace needs.

With 10+ years in facilities leadership and strong budgeting, communication, and MS Office skills, you will drive strategic initiatives and mentor staff while occasionally traveling for regional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in facilities related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years’ experience managing facilities operations and strategic initiatives.
• Experience managing projects and capital budgets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement facility management programs.
• Operate facility programs that address staff requests with efficient and reliable service.
• Plan, direct, and oversee activities relating to office renovations, construction, expansions, and moves.
• Manage facility-related partners including internal teams, vendors, and property managers.
• Leverage data and feedback to drive solutions for changing workplace priorities.
• Research trends and implement changes that support business goals and workplace needs.
• Lead, coach, and mentor other facilities professionals to support program growth.
• Occasional travel to regional offices is expected.
• Assist in real estate assessments and transactions and support general real estate needs.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by Facilities Director.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years’ experience managing facilities operations and strategic initiatives.
• Responsibility managing projects and capital budgets.
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator, both written and verbally, with attention to detail.
• Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook).
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Real estate and development experience is a plus.
• Facility management and A/E software capabilities are a plus.
