Job summary

Jobtailor in Portland, Oregon, seeks a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across CCS properties, lead a geographically dispersed team, and supervise the Work Order system.

You will plan and execute the Capital Improvement Plan, implement preventative maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with Federal Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, ORS, and OAR regulations while driving cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred, plus 5 years overseeing general building maintenance.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of ten years’ maintenance oversight experience.
  • Five years’ supervisory experience leading maintenance teams and managing CAPEX.
  • Access to a compatible MFA application for authentication.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DHS background check.

Responsibilities

Job description

  • Lead departmental cost-saving, bulk purchasing, and vendor efficiency initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred, plus 5 years providing oversight of general building maintenance experience, OR a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience providing oversight of general building maintenance and repairs
  • Five (5) years of supervisory experience leading cohesive maintenance teams and managing capital improvements
  • Access to a compatible smartphone supporting the organization’s approved multi-factor authentication (MFA) application
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat/kneel, use hands and fingers, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb stairs and ladders, and operate tools and machinery
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds and maneuver bulky objects
  • Successful completion of crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings
  • Driving is an essential function
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence or ability to obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check
