Job summary

ColumbiaCare Services seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, repair, and operations across CCS facilities and residential properties. You will lead dispersed maintenance teams, drive the Work Order Request System, and coordinate unit turns while advancing the CIP and preventive maintenance program.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, and ORS/OAR standards, plus promoting cost-saving and bulk purchasing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred, plus 5 years providing oversight of general building maintenance experience.
  • OR a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience providing oversight of general building maintenance and repairs.
  • Five (5) years of supervisory experience leading cohesive maintenance teams and managing capital improvements.

Responsibilities

About the Position

The Facilities Manager oversees the comprehensive maintenance, repair, and operations of assigned CCS facilities, including residential properties. This role provides strategic leadership and remote supervision to geographically dispersed maintenance staff while driving the regional Work Order Request System and unit-turn coordination. The Manager plays a critical role in fiscal and physical longevity by planning and executing the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and implementing the organization’s Preventative Maintenance Plan. Additionally, the position ensures absolute compliance with all Federal Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, ORS, and OAR regulations while championing departmental cost-saving, bulk purchasing, and vendor efficiency initiatives.

Technology Requirement

Employees are required to maintain access to a compatible smartphone capable of supporting the organization’s approved multi-factor authentication (MFA) application as a condition of employment. This requirement enables secure access to company systems.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time Day)

What You’ll Make

$6,000-$7,050 per monthDOE/Credentials

Additional 5% Language differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates.

  • Five (5) years of supervisory experience leading cohesive maintenance teams and managing capital improvements.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat/kneel, use hands and fingers, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb stairs and ladders, operate a variety of tools and machinery which may include exposure to vibration and noise; as well as lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and maneuver bulky objects. It may require the ability to occasionally talk, listen, and crawl. In addition, you must successfully completecrisisde-escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. Reasonable accommodations can be made.

Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record,and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
