Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in healthcare.

Job Description
  • Overseesthe maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the physical environment at an Independent Living & Personal Care areas of the Senior Care Community.
  • Responsible for overseeing housekeeping, laundry services, and transportation services.
  • Ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, and equipment are properly maintained, in compliance with regulatory standard.
  • Ensuresa safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Develops and manages the facilities department budget, ensuring cost-effective practices in purchasing, staffing, and energy use.
  • Liaise with and manage external contractors and service providers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-Time Position
  • Monday through Friday
  • Will participate in evening &/or weekend coverage rotation, as required.
  • Pay: $55,000-60,000/annually
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ADA, fire codes).
  • Proven experience in budget management and vendor/contractor relations.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software and standard office applications.
