Position Overview

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. The role involves overseeing facility operations, managing staff, coordinating office moves, and janitorial duties, all while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Coordinate repairs and monitor system performance of properties in and around Dayton, Ohio.
2. Negotiate maintenance contracts, quotes, and work orders with vendors for facility improvements and repairs.
3. Manage a team of technicians.
4. Conduct equipment audits and maintain records.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in facilities management required.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Licensed electrician is a plus.
• Strong understanding of facility control systems.
• Ability to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
