Loudoun County's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services (PRCS) is seeking qualified candidates for the Facilities Manager position. Under the overall guidance of the appointed supervisor, the Facilities Manager oversees the management of departmental facilities. This role involves resolving daily issues related to facilities, grounds, and training equipment; assessing the necessity for repairs, replacements, and enhancements; ensuring adherence to regulations; and planning new facilities or renovations. It also includes overseeing facility construction and remodeling projects.
Hiring salary commensurate with experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or closely related field and four (4) years of related experience preferably in construction operations. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) year of supervisory or team lead experience.
Must undergo background check, including fingerprinting, criminal, credit, and DMV checks. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Annual reviews of driving records may be conducted to ensure ongoing qualification. Completion of OSHA 10-hour certification course (within 12 months).
