About The Role

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings.

This role is part of the Facilities Management team, which focuses on all aspects of asset operations and supports Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee hiring.
  • Manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track deadlines, and mentor team members.
  • Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings to resolve facility issues.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, capital projects, and variance reports.
  • Perform facility inspections to ensure quality and compliance with regulations. Suggest operational improvements.
  • Manage environmental health and safety procedures.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, invoicing, and review quotes for parts, services, and labor.
  • Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety procedures.
  • Lead by example, embody CBRE RISE values, and influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
  • Apply interdisciplinary knowledge to achieve team and departmental goals.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education may substitute. Valid driver’s license required. Facility Management certification is a plus.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills for handling sensitive information and performance expectations.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and impact team performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a curious mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations.
