Brief Description

Dae Sung, LLC. and LB&B Associates Inc. are seeking a Facilities Manager (Project Manager) to oversee operations and mechanical maintenance services at federal buildings and border control facilities in Vermont. The position reports to the General Manager and Senior Vice President of Facilities.

Qualifications/Experience

The Facilities Manager should have at least a high school diploma and 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience managing and supervising building mechanical maintenance operations for large buildings similar in size and characteristics to those covered by this contract. Additionally, 10 years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience with an emphasis on commercial HVAC maintenance is required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the operations and maintenance (O&M) of facilities.
  • Manage skilled trades and supporting staff, ensuring consistent quality of service across all facilities.
  • Monitor, train, evaluate, and guide facilities personnel.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, with knowledge in their maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) plans and recommend predictive projects.
  • Negotiate O&M contracts and manage vendor relationships, including qualifying new vendors.
  • Manage procurement of maintenance supplies and repair parts for all equipment in the facilities.
  • Inspect buildings and equipment, noting and reporting needs for repairs and replacements.
  • Ensure proper use of the CMMS under this contract.
  • Regularly meet with customers to update on contract requirements and receive further instructions. Provide reports as required.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), building automation systems, and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Maintain an excellent record of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
