Job description

Full Time Facilities Manager for Westmoreland Country Club!

Ideal candidates are analytical problem solvers with extensive knowledge of facility care, operation, repair, and maintenance, including grounds upkeep and contracted services such as trash, elevator, boiler, HVAC, and window cleaning. The Facilities Manager will lead the onsite team of technicians and maintenance personnel. Previous supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform repairs, maintenance, and ensure cleanliness of the entire facility.
  2. Manage contracts and contracted services related to facility and grounds maintenance.
  3. Oversee operation of mechanical and power equipment used in maintenance.
  4. Coordinate exterior property cleaning and maintenance per company standards.
  5. Implement policies and procedures for the Building Maintenance and Facilities Department, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  6. Interview, hire, train, plan, assign, evaluate performance, reward, and discipline staff; handle complaints and resolve issues.
  7. Monitor business volume forecasts and plan manpower, productivity, costs, and expenses accordingly.
  8. Manage department staff, including assistant maintenance technicians, cleaners, laundry facilities, and housepersons.
  9. Provide effective orientation and ongoing training for staff.
  10. Maintain excellent service to ensure guest satisfaction.
  11. Communicate policy and procedure changes to the team.
  12. Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  13. Conduct staff meetings with subordinates.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience (preferably in diesel mechanics, auto mechanics, or small engines).
  • Valid Driver’s License and applicable mechanical/equipment licenses (e.g., Boiler, HVAC).
  • Ability to read and speak English to perform job duties and communicate with guests and team members.
Working Conditions
  • Frequent use of hands.
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds; push or pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, fumes, and airborne particles.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Work on weekends and holidays.
