This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel to Chattanooga, TN and Greenville, MS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team and improve quality and efficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for percentages and financial calculations.

  • Oversee programs run by third-party vendors (food delivery, cleaning, security, uniforms, pest control, landscaping).
  • Ensure audits and invoices are processed promptly.

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for creating vendor partnerships and managing the delivery of workplace experience services in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Examples of services you could be responsible for include café, security, cleaning, uniforms, landscaping, pest control, and other soft services related to a client managed facility.

This job is part of the Workplace Facilities Experience function. You will be responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building.

This position will be on site in Cleveland, TN with one day weekly travel required to Chattanooga, TN and occasionally to Greenville, MS.

What You'll Do
  • Provide formal supervision for employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Build and maintain a trusted client relationship. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Promote a strong workplace safety environment.
  • Ensure support provided by the team is efficient and consistent. Suggest process improvement efforts on a regular basis. Assist with developing strategic solutions.
  • Assess technological and training needs for Workplace Experience teams and clients. Always follow safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Develop vendor partnerships with the intention of cost saving efforts. Manage negotiations for contract services. Confirm that all vendors have current proof of insurance and contractual documentation.
  • Ensure KPI's delivery and End User Satisfaction Surveys are always in green and at satisfactory levels.
  • Oversee programs run by third party vendors. This includes food delivery, cleaning, security, uniforms, pest control, and landscaping. Ensure all invoices for business services billed promptly.
  • Ensure support provided by the team is efficient and consistent through audit processes.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.
