Job Summary

The Facilities Manager will support the Business Services Manager / Unit Director to deliver excellent customer service to our corporate client.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage in-house or third-party soft service providers (janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, waste management, pest control, mail/shipping).
2. Oversee teams providing mail/shipping and audiovisual support.
3. Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Manage the soft services budget and provide financial reports.
2. Assist in vendor contract development and procurement through company and client systems.
3. Handle requisitions, POs, and invoice receipts.
4. Collaborate to solve problems professionally and with excellent customer service.
5. Coordinate with the site Facility Manager and assist in planning team goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Solid understanding of facilities management including janitorial, mail, S&R, landscaping, pest control, waste management, and vendor management.
• Minimum of 5 years of soft services industry experience.
• Strong management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously.
• Customer service and client relations oriented.
• Proficiency in IT tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams.
