Job summary

JLL in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Facilities Manager to serve as the single point of contact for facilities management across client sites in the Baltimore area. You will coordinate services with the Corporate Real Estate team and the client, driving cost-efficient facility operations and reporting.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and daily on-site work with the client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Facilities Management.
• 7+ years industry experience in corporate environment, third party service provider, or as a consultant.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills; client facing.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems is helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, and MS SharePoint.
• Computer proficiency in CMMS tools and work order management.
• Able to work in a matrix environment with client, vendors, and engineers.
• Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Position requires on-site daily presence with client.

Facilities Manager - JLL

What this job involves:

The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the Regional Manager and the Corporate Real Estate team with the delivery of quality facility management services for client sites within the Baltimore area. This role will coordinate and manage tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Be point of contact for client, building engineers, and vendors for client sites in Baltimore area
• Oversee delivery of services for multiple client sites
• Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client.
• Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.
• Oversee the development and management of expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representative
• Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis
• Assist with the development and implement the annual management plan for the buildings within the area
• Coordinate with building engineering staff and landlords
• Other duties and tasks as assigned
• Position requires to be onsite daily with client

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis
• 7+ years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant
• Strong organizational and management
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills; client facing
• Strong presentation skills
• Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems helpful
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, and MS Share Point
• Computer proficiency in CMMS tools and work order management
• Work in matrix environment between client, vendors, and engineers
• Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in matrix management organization
• MBA desirable
• Corrigo knowledge strongly desired

Location: Baltimore, MD (on-site)

Estimated compensation for this position:

100,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
