Job summary

DHL is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance professional to join our Corporate Real Estate team in Ohio. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical operations, routine maintenance, and coordination with vendors to keep DHL facilities running smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of FM experience, an technical Associates degree or FM certification, and CMMS experience. The position offers growth within an international, virtual environment and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical education with FM certification.
• Associates degree in technical field a plus.
• More than 2 years in Facility Management with a technical focus.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on standard facility equipment (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, etc.).
• Document all work in DHL maintenance system.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for timely maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect buildings and repair mechanical and electrical systems.

Job Purpose:

Skilled in mechanical/electrical operations of facilities. Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment. Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely

• Skilled in mechanical/electrical operations of facilities.
• Document all work within DHL maintenance system
• Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment (HVAC, Lighting, Plumbing, etc.)
• Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely.
• Surveying buildings and repair mechanical systems
• Performing maintenance of electrical systems
• Assisting in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)

• Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization adhering to narrowly defined procedures, standards and guidelines
• Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team
• Communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation
• Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships

Your profile:

• Vocational or Technical education with FM certification
• Associates degree in technical field a plus

Experience Level

• More than 2 years in Facility Management with a technical focus.
• Previous experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) system
