Job summary

Insights Training Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Cincinnati Job Corps Center to perform general maintenance and repairs across painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. The role requires practical trade skills, the ability to read manuals and work orders, and a valid state driver’s license.

You will handle preventive and unscheduled repairs, and support safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• General maintenance duties requiring practical knowledge in trade skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and work orders for repairs.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified duties to install and maintain facilities and equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Use hand and power tools and meters for repairs.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas; follow safety regulations.
• Coordinate outdoor maintenance with student workers as needed.
• Inspect facilities and initiate corrective action to fix deficiencies.
• May purchase maintenance materials as directed.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal landscaping as required.
• Support Center operations and adhere to established policies.
