Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must possess and maintain a current New Mexico Driver’s license.
• Aptitude or competence for assigned duties and responsibilities as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and mechanical equipment for defects.
• Dismantle machines or equipment to access defective parts and repair them with hand-tools.
• Replace rubber drive belts and maintain lubrication of moving parts.
• Perform plumbing-related tasks including pipe fitting and drain cleaning.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal and general district maintenance tasks.
• Work after hours as needed and participate in project-related tasks.
