Job summary

CoreCivic in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Worker who will install, maintain and repair the facility's building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles and grounds. Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Two years of general maintenance or construction experience required.
• Valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/repair physical structure of facility in safe/secure operations.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair machines and equipment.
• Install/repair electrical apparatus such as wiring or electronic components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment according to the maintenance plan.
• Supervise and track inmates/residents assigned to Maintenance Department.
