Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Augusta, GA, seeks a Maintenance Assistant to perform routine maintenance of facility mechanicals and ensure life safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience with drywall, painting, taping, and power tools, plus knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with drywall, taping, and painting and proficient with power tools.
• NFPA knowledge preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance is a plus.
• Availability to respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of facility mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep the building in excellent repair.
• Prioritize and complete work orders in the system.
• Maintain life safety compliance per CMS regulations.
• Support survey readiness and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Duties as assigned.
