Job summary

Goodwill Omaha is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Associate to perform light repairs and respond to facility maintenance requests, ensuring safe, timely actions. You will operate maintenance equipment and maintain paperwork and work orders across Goodwill properties.

The role requires 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with insurability. Nights/weekends may be necessary in a family-friendly, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for light plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other minor repairs at Goodwill properties.
• Respond to trouble calls at Goodwill properties.
• Safely operate maintenance equipment according to guidelines and safety procedures.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain maintenance work orders and inventory records.
• Meet attendance expectations and promote a safe, positive environment.
