Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Summit in West Virginia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine repairs, inspections, and renovations of our facilities and vehicle fleet. You will help enhance safety, security, and aesthetics across owned and leased properties.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a building trades certification, two years of related experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and building trades certification.
• Two years of related maintenance or facility construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities, vehicles, and safety systems regularly to ensure safe operation.
• Perform light construction work such as ballast/ceiling tile replacement and painting.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
