Job summary

Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain its facilities and capital assets across multiple sites in Colorado. The role supports the Facilities Management team, performing preventive maintenance on buildings, garages, and equipment, while coordinating with other departments to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in trades, holds UST Class C and CNG certifications, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• UST Class C Operator Certification and CNG fueling certifications required.
• Two years of experience in two or more trades such as painting, plumbing, carpentry or HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and oversee facilities and assets to ensure safety and reliability.
• Operate and maintain equipment, perform inspections, and manage preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with custodial and other teams as needed.
• Respond to on-call needs and participate in safety meetings.
