Qualifications

• Two years of actual experience or a combination of formal training and experience preferred.
• Ability to work harmoniously with others and abide by the department code of conduct.
• English speaking, reading, writing, and understanding proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on transit equipment.
• Inspect vehicles as scheduled and identify defects.
• Provide support for vehicle exchanges and repairs.

Skills

Advanced computer and data entry skills

Solid knowledge of operating theory

Solid knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety

Proficient ability to identify high/low-voltage systems

Strong communication skills

Education
