Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking a Certified Facilities Maintenance Mechanic (Electrician) to perform electrical maintenance across RTD facilities and related sites. The role requires a current Colorado Journeyman Electrician license and the ability to work with 480-volt systems, controls, motors, and building systems.

The position is safety-sensitive, with duties including diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and coordinating with other trades.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Journeyman Electrician license from the State of Colorado.
• Knowledge of 480 volt systems and control systems.
• Ability to obtain Colorado Commercial Driver License Class B within 90 days and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain facilities and assist other trades across RTD facilities, Park-n-Rides and bus shelters.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical problems including wiring, control systems, motors and 480V systems.
• Install, repair and maintain electrical fixtures, services and systems; may include HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and mechanics.
