City of Wylie, Texas is seeking a Facility Support Technician to perform custodial and maintenance duties across city buildings and facilities. The role includes cleaning, basic repairs in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, and assisting with project tasks to keep facilities in good working order.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and completion of NIMS training after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in building maintenance or equivalent.
• Preferred certifications in HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing.
• Valid Driver's License; Texas license within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of NIMS training after hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform custodial and maintenance duties in city buildings and facilities.
• Address custodial, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction tasks; drywall, carpentry, roofing as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance needs to supervisor; supply list preparation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, caulking, simple repairs to doors and windows.
• Operate city vehicle for department tasks and ensure public facilities are well-kept.
