Job summary

Reports to the Maintenance Manager. No supervisory duties. Requires 2–5 years of related experience, strong reading of technical docs, and proficient use of Microsoft Office and Epicor Kinetic on-site.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical documents.
• Ability to prepare routine reports and communicate effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Working knowledge of basic math, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to identify problems, gather information, and draw sound conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tablet-based tools such as iPad.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to maintain facility operations and condition.
• Diagnose equipment and building system issues using manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.
• Inspect motors, drives, belts, filters, and fluid levels using checklists.
• Document maintenance activity in Epicor Kinetic and order parts through the system.
• Coordinate building and grounds contractors as needed.
• Plan repair work using blueprints, manuals, and diagrams.
• Support grounds maintenance including landscaping and snow removal.
