The City of Forest Hill is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of City buildings. The role requires hands-on skills across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related trades.

You will inspect facilities, maintain records, coordinate with contractors, and respond to urgent maintenance issues, ensuring safety and city operations.

Competenze

• General building maintenance knowledge required.
• Experience with carpentry, painting, drywall, and basic plumbing/electrical is preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and maintain records.

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of City buildings and facilities.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Perform general repairs including carpentry, painting, drywall, doors, locks, ceilings, flooring and fixtures.

• Identify and address facility deficiencies and safety concerns.
