Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a maintenance worker responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces and keeping the facility in good repair. You will coordinate with staff and contractors, relocate furniture, and perform repairs while using CMMS software to track work orders.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds, stand and stoop for long periods, and effective communication with team members. A High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in general building maintenance and repair.
• Associate degree is a plus.
• Ability to use computers/tablets effectively.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and with others including contractors.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Must communicate about furniture components and layouts.
• Must stand, stoop, and lift up to 80 pounds.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Paint all interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintain building in good repair including flooring, walls, ceilings, and furniture.
• Relocate and install freestanding furniture and wall-mounted items.
• Perform repairs and coordinate with staff and contractors as needed.
• Operate CMMS software to manage work orders and logs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and documentation.
• Possess ability to drive Mayo Clinic vehicle when required.
