Job summary

Qualifications

Two or more years’ experience in maintenance or facility operations.
Experience in healthcare facility maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of standard and safe maintenance practices, procedures, and tools.

Responsibilities

Performs daily routine maintenance and repair on the facilities and equipment including plumbing, electrical, sheet rock, carpentry, mechanical repair, painting, sign making.
Maintains general plant and facilities in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean environment.
Completes work orders and hazard reports in a timely manner; reports unsafe conditions.
Assists with emergency power equipment inspections and fire safety systems; maintains extinguishers and lighting.
Assists with on-call shifts and weekends; coordinates with external contractors as requested.
Prepares rooms for meetings and arranges furniture for facility functions.
