Job summary

Sunshine Residential Homes seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure building and equipment compliance, perform repairs, and execute a preventative maintenance program. You will inspect program sites, repair walls and fixtures, install electrical components, fix plumbing, and maintain vehicles.

The role requires physical capability, a valid Arizona driver's license, and the ability to work a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficiency with common hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Must be flexible in hours to facilitate maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Carry a cell phone when on-call.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections and repairs at each program site.
• Report additional maintenance needs to Operations Supervisor.
• Repair walls, paint interiors/exteriors, and hang items as needed.
• Replace blinds, install electrical outlets, and fix lighting fixtures.
• Install and repair wiring for lighting and electricity, including emergency lighting.
• Repair plumbing components and exterior sprinkler systems as required.
• Maintain Sunshine vehicles with basic maintenance tasks.
• Monitor office building systems and alert Operations of issues.
• Follow company policies and training guidelines.
