Job summary

Wade Trim seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Administration team in Taylor, MI. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and coordinate with vendors to support multiple offices, while assisting with office improvements, relocations, and fleet tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma and 4+ years of related experience, with strong communication, organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to other offices is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical, and tools.
• Knowledge of lawn and yard equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on the building and grounds.
• Communicate with vendors and negotiate maintenance issues.
• Order and restock supplies for cleaning, toiletries, and paper products.
• Maintain equipment to factory specifications.
• Assist with redevelopment of offices and minor painting or drywall tasks.
• Assist with office relocation as directed by supervisor.
• Assist employees with fleet maintenance.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
