Job summary

The Oakwood Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician in Taylor, MI to maintain buildings, grounds, and related facility equipment. You will perform hands-on maintenance, coordinate repairs, and help ensure safety and code compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of building and grounds maintenance experience with working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of building and grounds maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and grounds maintenance to support company standards and code compliance.
• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors for building-related work.
• Maintain preventive maintenance documentation and records.
• Maintain and manage maintenance equipment and inventories.
• Follow all health and safety policies and applicable codes and standards.
