Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Administration team in Taylor, MI. The role supports multiple offices, performing preventive maintenance and basic repairs on buildings, grounds, and fleet vehicles while coordinating with vendors and keeping supplies updated.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 4+ years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical, and tools (manual and power).
• Knowledge of lawn and yard equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on the building and grounds.
• Perform other general office maintenance duties as necessary.
• Communicate and negotiate with vendors concerning building and ground maintenance issues.
• Order and restock supplies for cleaning, toiletry, coffee, and other paper product.
• Maintain equipment to factory specifications.
• Assist with redevelopment of offices, such as minor painting, drywall, installation of artwork and white boards, and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Assist with office relocation tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Assist employees with fleet maintenance.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
