Job summary

The State of Colorado, Office of Adult, Aging and Disability Services, is seeking staff for the Colorado State Veterans Community Living Center – Rifle. Qualifications

• Four (4) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned.
• A combination of related education, formalized apprenticeship program, and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to four (4) years.
• Must possess a valid, non-restricted Colorado Driver’s License or be within 30 miles of the CO state border.

Responsibilities

• Grounds keeping: mowing, trimming, fertilization, spraying, pruning, weeding, raking, irrigation.
• Equipment: routine and preventative maintenance of building systems and devices to meet life safety codes.
• Building maintenance: multi-trade repairs including electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, tile work.
• Misc. duties: assist staff, manage small projects, and ensure safe, clean work site.
• Recordkeeping: maintain time sheets, work orders, and procurement paperwork.
