Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time maintenance or mechanical experience under supervision.
• OR Completion of a two-year technical school.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to read/write English.
• Must report to supervisory chain and maintain required trainings.
• Able to operate tools, machinery and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine semi-skilled maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and other facilities.
• Maintain grounds and facilities, including cleaning, painting and moving furniture.
• Troubleshoot facility, equipment and machinery problems and address concerns promptly.
• Possess or gain required security clearances and complete training for assigned data systems.
• May supervise subordinates to accomplish tasks and assist with Nonmilitary Use Program maintenance.
