Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our centers safe, functional, and inviting for families and children. You’ll perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, inspect playgrounds and sites, and support renovations and new construction projects.

You’ll work with center staff, coordinate with vendors, manage work orders in CMMS, and apply manuals and plans accurately, enabling growth across our 2,000+ sites

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, playgrounds, roofing, etc. in a multi-unit environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Ability to read facility maintenance manuals, technical bulletins, drawings, plans.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and carpentry.
• Conduct safety inspections of playgrounds and property.
• Assist with renovations and new construction inspections and capital projects.
