Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Alamogordo, NM to maintain small to mid-size buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs, inspect equipment, and support energy management; a company vehicle and tools are provided.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an on-call rotation every eight weeks. Candidates must pass background checks, drug screen, MVR, and a pre-employment physical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to pass background check, drug screening, MVR, and pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Diagnose problems, conduct inspections, and perform repairs as needed.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with building systems.
• Support energy management to ensure efficient operation of systems.
• Inspect installations for code and safety compliance.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
• Deliver output by following procedures and processes under guidance.
