Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Enrollment in advanced education and/or related certification(s) a plus.
• Experience in a similar position is a plus.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook proficiency.
• Ability to troubleshoot Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
• Background in manufacturing systems in a dynamic environment; extrusion process knowledge is a plus.
• PLC Logic knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings or willingness to learn from plans.
• Strong decision making, analytical skills and cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Experience planning, executing and managing projects.
• Strong interpersonal communication across audiences.
• Must be self-directed and multi-task in a 24/7 environment.
• Certifications & Licenses: TRAK program enrollment and Forklift certification; welding experience and related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production lines and equipment to keep them running with some assistance.
• Demonstrates learning and improvement in maintenance responsibilities and tasks.
• Assists in prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager and leadership.
• Completes work orders within current abilities as defined by leadership.
• Supports 6S and TPM programs for workplace organization and efficiency.
• Assists operators in daily preventive maintenance checks.
• Leads preventative maintenance processes on shift within capabilities.
• Supports line commissioning after maintenance events.
• Leads and supports plant projects as needed.
• Operates in a way that adds value to the team.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Job Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times with some assistance.
• Shows consistent desire, learning, and improvement in all maintenance responsibilities, duties, and tasks.
• Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
• Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators within the level of their current abilities.
• Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
• Assists operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
• Leads preventative maintenance process on the shift within the level of their current abilities.
• Supports in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
• Leads and supports other plant projects as needed
• Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Enrollment in advanced education and/or related certification(s) a plus
• Experience: Experience in a similar position a plus
• Computer Skills: Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Ability to show constant learning and improvement in working with and troubleshooting: Electrical,
  Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
• Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment, a plus;
  Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
• Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings or an approved plan to learn how to read and understand drawings\
• Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Strong mathematical skills
• Success in planning, executing and managing projects
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences
• Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Certifications & Licenses:
  • Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech\"s Training
  • Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
  • Enrollment in Facility Maintenance Certification course, a plus
  • Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
  • Stick and wire welding experience with structural welding certification preferred
