The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, office furniture assemblies, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) troubleshooting. The technician repairs, installs, and removes equipment at company facilities and will travel daily between facilities on the assigned campus.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for:

• Providing facilities maintenance support such as plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, office furniture assemblies, minor electrical work, minor fabrication, and HVAC troubleshooting.
• Operating independently on assigned jobs and providing solutions.
• Researching repair methods with team members.
• Entering work order comments and timecards.

To be considered for this role, you need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of general maintenance experience or equivalent military experience.
• The ability to solve practical problems and diagnose basic plumbing, electrical, and equipment malfunctions.
• Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing all units of measurement, including fractions.
• Reliable transportation to travel between buildings.
• Skill in using power and hand tools.
• Basic power and hand tools (list provided upon hire).
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills.
• A good driving record and reliable transportation.

Preferred qualifications include:

• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Machine repair and troubleshooting experience.
• Skill in operating a forklift and scissor lift.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
