A leading company in non-destructive testing is seeking an NDT Inspector. The role involves performing inspections of structures and materials using advanced NDT methods. Summary
Conduct NDT inspections of structures, pipelines or other components and materials using x-ray, ultrasound, Magnetic Particle, Laser Profilometry or related equipment.
Essential Functions
Conduct non-destructive (NDT) testing of components and materials in accordance with applicable codes, standards, equipment utilization, specifications, and procedures.
Utilize appropriate NDT method to perform NDT inspections, including x-ray, ultrasound, Phased Array Ultrasonics, Time of Flight Diffraction Ultrasonics, Magnetic Particle, Laser Profilometry, and visual inspections.
Select, prepare, calibrate, and operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing of products or materials.
Identify defects in materials using appropriate testing technique.
Complete documentation and work orders thoroughly following established protocols and meeting required timeframes.
Drive Company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
Provide instruction to assigned assistants and ensure safety of entire team.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Certification and Licensure
Work Experience
Demonstrated NDT skill, knowledge, or experience. Requires Shear Wave and Phased Array experience. Pipeline Integrity experience a preferred however not mandatory. Applicants must meet weight restrictions to ensure their safety when utilizing safety harnesses.
