Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Developmental Technician to maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets across stores. You will work under guidance, following schedules and using multiple craft skills to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires CDL and a valid driver1s license, plus experience in plumbing, electrical, or related trades, or Walmart store experience. Expect physical work, varied temperatures, and opportunities for growth through Walmart0s education and benefits programs.

Qualifications

• CDL required; valid driver1s license.
• 1 year1s experience in trades (plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment) or 2 years Walmart store experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and operate in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision of an experienced technician.
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment and assets using multiple craftskills and tools.
• Use work order system to receive, document repairs and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
