Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets across multiple crafts at our store. You’ll work under the local General Maintenance Manager, following schedules and using tools to complete tasks efficiently.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in varying temperatures, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Multicraft maintenance across trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and equipment handling.
• Requires vocational/technical certification or related hands-on experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR; no major violations in recent years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across crafts using hand/power tools.
• Use work order system to document repairs and respond to emergencies.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
• Complete training for safe operation of equipment and tools.
