Job summary

Walmart Inc. seeks a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on store facilities, equipment, and fixtures. You will work under the General Maintenance Manager, following schedules and safety guidelines to keep stores safe and welcoming.

The role requires hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades, plus a valid driver's license and the ability to work in varying temperatures. Join Walmart to contribute to a high-volume retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/Technical certification or 2 years related trades experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use work order system to manage repairs and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for equipment and tools.
