Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Woodland store to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep facilities, equipment, and fixtures safe and functional. Under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, you will follow schedules and use hand and power tools.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time.
• Frequent climbing of ladders and working at heights.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using various crafts (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, equipment).
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
