Job summary

Taiyo America, Inc. seeks a maintenance technician to keep the manufacturing facility clean, safe, and fully operational. You will perform general maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure production equipment runs without interruption.

Responsibilities include handling plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and other building systems, with attention to safety and process efficiency. Weekend or overtime work may be required in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, electrical systems, power tools, and basic safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment.
• Repair equipment and parts using workshop tools when possible.
• Assist in inspecting equipment and identifying needs for repair.
• Help troubleshoot issues to determine needed repairs.
• Perform general repairs not requiring specialized technicians (e.g., drywall, painting).
• Maintain inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies; place orders as needed.
• Contribute to team goals and related tasks.
